About SUPERCONDUCTOR and how items are chosen

Who publishes this

SUPERCONDUCTOR (informationsuperconductor.com) is an independent, non-commercial information project of Giovanni Kerkhof, based in the Netherlands. It is not affiliated with, paid by or coordinated with any candidate, campaign, party, political committee or government, and it accepts no advertising and no donations. The publisher is not a U.S. citizen; these pages inform and do not advocate for or against anyone. Contact: [email protected].

Selection criteria (the same for every candidate)

Ballot. Every candidate printed on the general-election ballot is listed, alphabetically by surname, with the party label as reported by the official or cited source.
In their own words. For each candidate: three statements copied verbatim from the candidate's own campaign website, taken from issue or platform pages. Same number for every candidate.
Background. One or two facts about each candidate's current or past public role, from the candidate's own site or an established news outlet.
Reported. Dated items from established news organisations and fact-checkers about the race itself (nominations, debates, ballot status, official investigations, fact-checks of claims made in the race). When an item concerns an allegation about a candidate, the candidate's reported response is included next to it.
Left out on purpose: polls and race ratings; advertising and attack material; party-committee and super-PAC statements; social-media posts; campaign-finance contributor data (we never use FEC contributor records); anything we could not link to a public page.
Quotes are exact. Text is copied byte-for-byte from a sealed copy of the page, with the retrieval date. Where a page has no publication date we show the date we retrieved it. Our one-line summaries (in some layouts) are paraphrases; the quote and link are the evidence.
Updates. New items are added under the same rules until election day; subscribers get one email per update. Every change is listed on the corrections & changes page.

AI transparency

Collection, selection and summaries were prepared with AI assistance working from the sealed source collection. No AI-generated text is presented as a quote, and no AI presents itself as a person.

Research note

We show the same material in three layouts (a source table, a timeline and a cited summary) and count, per layout, how many visitors ask for update emails and click through to sources — to learn which layout serves readers best. We record no names, and only a random visitor id in a cookie. See privacy.
